I was chatting to a colleague and I was telling her about something my wife did and she said, "Ah, that's a pink job" - turns out her and hers have blue jobs and pink jobs. And they divide along very traditional lines. Painting is a blue job, washing is a pink job, etc.
And I was thinking, what jobs are still blue jobs and pink jobs? I don't mean just in your house, I mean generally, as well. I know there'll be exceptions but... What do you think?
E.g. I would imagine building a wall is a blue job but then would most people pay someone to do it, so does that count? Probably not. I'm struggling. In our house, if a pipe bursts in the attic at 2am (or even 2pm) I know who's going to be going up there, even though he's probably more danger than help.
