I've just finished a phone call from a good friend from a couple of years ago at work.
He's getting married - which is lovely news.

I find myself wanting to nurture his marriage and support him in the future as he shall become a father as time passes.

I can't really think that anyone did this for me - so, am I being freaky? am I wierd?
Does anyone have a sense that someone has invested into their marriage and fatherhood?

Hi Mr O

Yes i think a few men folk stand out as having invested in me as a husband, father and man. Funnily my own dad is not one of them. 2 of my mates dads have invested by treating me like their own kids and really building up my confidence and self worth. The other chaps would be peers who have just been honest, truthful and encouraging.
