Does anyone think that 2hrs per week is reasonable access time with severe restrictions attached like not being able to take her out of the mothers house. I would appreciate your thoughts and ideas of what I can do. If only you knew the type of person I am daling with

Hi Cafish,

I would say it would depend on the age of the child if very young then I'd say yes it is acceptable, when I say young I mean new born or just a few months old where the child is very dependat on Mum.

If older then no it isn't acceptable level of contact.

What arrangements are in place at the moment? is it formal court based order or just an agreement made between you.

Hi, how old is the child ? I would agree if a baby or vey young or getting to know you. my son has gone through the same, he saw his daughter for 2 hours supervised every week then when she was 2 and a half, extended gradually to now 7 hours unsupervised, we are going to court due to all the controll and for overnight stay.
