My son's mother suspects that I have a new girlfriend and I was expecting this to impact on the level of contact I enjoy with him. And it has, but not how you would expect...
... his mother has asked me to have him more?!?!?!? I've obviously snapped her hand off, because I'm not one for looking a gift horse in the mouth. I know she's only doing this to reduce the opportunity of me and my 'girlfriend' spending quality time together...
... but the oh-so-sweet irony is that there isn't a girlfriend. It's all in her head and I haven't had the heart to correct her. I basically told her that my private life was exactly that and when I felt ready to introduce someone to my son I wouldn't actually need her permission to do so.
