Am after a bit of help with how the ex's legal aid works.
Once it has been agreed the applicant is eligable for legal aid how long does it stay valid for? I have seen mention of certificates, what is it. Does it run out if applied for say, 6 months ago. is it then be renewed or is it valid indefinatley.
Also in a non family case i know the legal aid is only given if the chance of winning the case is reasonable i.e. an accident at work. Is this the same with contact and family cases.
So if legal aid was given and a few solicitors letters sent with it would that same granting of legal aid be able to be used right up to a court case or would it be re-evaluated.
any advice from your experience/knowledge apreciatted. Thanks
HI, I cant help with the details but my solicitor told me last week that it is stopping in april. but not for mediation.

It will depend on the solicitor if they want to carry on with the case after April
