Unless anyone has used one on here (which I'm not aware of), then you'd probably be looking at a family lawyer - the law society website can give you a list.

Is there any specific problem you'd like advice on here?

Thanks for the reply.
My problem is regarding arrears the csa say I owe, which have been based on an incorrect assesment which I originally appealled against and due to the csa unable to get information off the pwc the case was cancelled . This was later overturned at a tribunal and a new calculation made. The arrears are for the time when the incorrect assesment was in place and the new assesment not back dated. Sorry if this doesnt make much sense. I just dont seem to be getting anywhere trying to deal directly with the csa hence why I feel a solicitor might be best taking up my case,

It's possible that there may be specialist lawyers in the CSA, but I would have thought (could be wrong) that it's unlikely to be local to you. The other problem is that it could cost you considerably in legal fees, something you are unlikely to recover, so you could be spending money with little likelihood of getting that back, and no guarantee of success with the CSA. Can you get the CSA to explain the arrears calculation in writing and explain on what grounds they are backdating the calculation in spite of the tribunal ruling?

Additionally, put your whole case in writing, and go to see your MP as soon as possible and ask them to write to the CSA - give your written case to the MP (that way, nothing is missed). A letter to the CSA gives the case a higher priority, so it's worth doing this.
