Here's a query

I have taken photos of my kids, which are on my facebook page. None of these photos are inappropriate in any way. Friends tagged in same photos have on occasion posted these on their own profiles with no disagreement from me. After all they are my own photos, so no copywrite law is being infringed by them.

However recently my ex-wife has been reporting my friends and insisting these photos are removed. As facebook doesn't give the option to appeal, they cannot argue that they have a parents' right to use the photos.

Where do I stand?

Have they been removed from your profile at all?

If it is just your friends then I don't think you can do anything about it unless your friends try and email Facebook and explain to them.

No, the pictures remain on my profile, she hasn't requested me directly to remove any photos I have. She is simply targeting my friends.

Unfortunately, facebook don't make it easy to get in touch with them.
