Hello All Just wondering what to add to the meadiation section. I asked my ex in numerous correspondence if she would attend mediation but has since not confirmed that she wishes to do this. I wrote to the ex via her solicitor giving her an additional period of time for her to confirm but she has also chosen to ignore this.

I feel I have done everything possible. Is it OK to add words to the effect to section 8?

Many thanks

...As Mediation hasnt been attempted the court are very likely to send you both away to attend court ordered Mediation before hearing your case. You can state in section 8 that you have requested both verbally and through her solicitor that she attend Mediation but have had no response or you can contact the Mediation Service and go and see them, tell them about the issues and then they will write to your ex to invite her to attend. If she refuses or ignores the Mediator he will be able to issue you with a form FM1 which will satisfy the court. Court ordered Mediation could still be on the cards though...
