Is it too late to submit this form?

First hearing is 2 days away.

DV happened against me and there is previous correspondence with solicitors, police, CAFCAS as I have alleged this - but never pursued it.

I would add I was arrested twice and no further action was taken against me on both occasion for similar alleged matters and it is likely she is going to allege again when it comes to court.

not one I know the answer to, but if no-one else answers before tomorrow, I'd ring the court first thing and ask them.

Heya Kenny,

different kinds of reports. In England (and I suspect Scotland) the CRB check would be the best method of checking yourself. There are two levels - standard and enhanced. Enhanced should show arrests, but it is arbituary (mine was clear). Based on what you mentioned just go for the standard one ( I think its about £12).

Hi BW - I wondered about this, but can anyone ask for a CRB check, or does the subject have to give permission to have one done on them?

Hi Boycie

Sorry I am replying to this probably too late! Normally the C1a is used when it is anticipated that the abuse/violence could be used against the children, or seen by the children.

If they have seen it, been upset by it, or you think it has changed the children in any way, then it is a good idea to submit a C1A although it is too late for the hearing. Although you could complete one and file it at Court on the morning of the hearing and give her a copy, CAFCASS a copy, keeping a copy for yourself.

Never had to ask for a CRB for myself..applied for them for my bosses! LOL! And Social Services always applied for them in Care Proceedings....unless the Court ordered it in Children proceedings.

I think you can probably get a report on yourself only, you could not get one on anyone else.

ACTD,

I am pretty sure you can just pay for these. Particularly if your work in a sector and do extra shifts for an agency - you apply to get this before you get onto their books. Comprende?? 🙂

Doh!! I was thinking you meant get a CRB on someone else, not on yourself. You'll have to excuse me, getting a little slow in my old age 😀
