Following on from my previous thread http://www.dad.info/dad-talk-forum/legal-eagle/31091-i-just-want-to-be-a-dad-to-my-child?limit=6&start=12#31419 this week I had my Cafcass assessment as part of a section 7 report the court has ordered.
My local Cafcass office was unable to do the report as their overworked so it was transferred to a different office 50 miles away, I had to travel to this office. I got there and in total my assessment lasted 40 minutes, is this normal? should I feel positive that it didn't last too long? Slightly baffled was expecting it to last like two hours and to go into all the ins and outs of everything.
It was refreshing that for once they have seen me before mother.
