Cafcass reports are flawed and was purposely requested by the other party/solicitor solely for lies and to seriously jeopardise contact which proved successful as I have not seen my son in 7 years. I was going to meet up with a cafcass manager regarding the reports but he has now changed his mind because he is saying that he cannot amend the situation because they are past reports. He as now recommended me to make a compliant. but I am not sure. views on this would be very much appreciated

Thanks.

Do that mate, also speak to the Ombudsman, but I would strongly recommend you goto your MP. This is unacceptable 7 years without access. Clearly I do not know the facts but contact is important for the childs sake if there are no obviating circumstances.- the MP should have open sessions with his constituency. Do this.

Thanks for your comment I am afraid the MP approach is out of the question I was in contact with him a while back and he said that he cannot interfere with judgements that the court have made. Oh and about the Ombudsman I have heard I can only make contact with him or her after the initial cafcass compliant and not being satisfied with the handling of the initial compliant?

Cheers.

Hi Jasey 🙂

if the CAFCASS manager has recommended that you make a complaint then I think thats what you should do...whats the worse that can happen, they dont uphold your complaint and then you can take it to the Omsbudsman. At the very least they wont take you for granted again and think that they can give you a sub standard service without there being any comeback.
