i just need some advice regarding my ex wife. she wants to take our son on holiday however i hold our sons passport and she is not allowed access to it without a letter from her solicitor. i have a feeling that she may apply for a passport for our son so that she can take him out of the country and i was wondering if anyone could advise me on if the passport office would issue a second passport or not? the passport is with me and therefore no lost so if she did apply for one and said it was lost then this would be a lie. should i contact the passport office to make them aware of the risk of her applying for another passport? or will they pick up on the fact that one is already issued to our son?...can anyone advise me please?
