Hello,

I am currently in a long [censored] mission and probably in the same boat as 99.9% of dads out there.

Well to say i have a ex partner whos done self harm (bless her) I'll call her (A) and her new partner who has "schizophrenia" whos just come out of prison for 5 years, and him will be called (B)

I have harassment orders on the pair of them, and a file full of evidence, containing threats to me and my family.

including to rape them, burn my house + my familys house down its all just pathetic shows nothing but a deranged couple ;;)

cut the story short, we have a CP meeting with social service's coming up very soon, as i feel there's a high risk to my daughter's welfare

if i don't receive the results' i want, what is that (B) has no connection with my daughter what so ever, as they don't live together, and my daughter just isn't safe near him, what actions can i take so he his not allowed near her??

Would be grateful to hear back from some of you people out there with good knowledge :silly:

Hi there and welcome 🙂

Would you be willing to have custody of your daughter and apply for Residency? I think in the circumstances that would be in the best interests of your child.

I would discuss this with SS when you attend the CP meeting. If they dont want to act then you could tell them that you intend to apply for Residency through the courts and ask if they will support you in this.

You could also enquire about the possibility of an injunction against the boyfriend, which would prohibit him from going anywhere near your daughter.

Good luck with everything.

I have applied for Residence order already my C100 was sent away 4 days ago now, I have been to see a lawyer today and she stated today to me "Be Prepared for custody" So i'm hoping for more then i expected now.

As far as i'm aware my daughter could possibly be taken into foster care when we attend the CP meeting, As they are taking things seriously because He tried assulting me in front of the social workers last week,

As for the injunction order, my lawyer has told me this should be done threw the police as they have breechedthere harrasment orders 3 times now i could possibly see this happening now

thanks 🙂

Hi Karlos, don't take this the wrong way, but I had to chuckle when you said B tried to assault you in front of the social workers - what a fantastic favour he has done you with your residence case. I would hope that the childrens services would place your daughter with you in preference to foster care, but the best advice I can give is to work closely with your solicitor and keep in constant touch with the social services, and report every single incidence of harrassment etc to the police - the more you can take into court, the easier it's going to be. I would also check out the local contact centre - assuming you get residence, contact will then be an issue, so if you are ready with the details of the contact centre, you can ask for supervised contact only.

Thats good news and I'm glad that you have started the application for Residency. Solicitors usually sit on the fence, so if your solicitor is saying to prepare for custody then that is very optimistic.

I do hope that the SS remove her into your custody rather than put her in foster care, as that would be best for her and less unsettling.

Thanks for bringing us up to date with what is happening, I just want to wish you and your little girl the very best of luck for the CP meeting and beyond. 🙂

To "ACTD",

No wrong way taken mate :woohoo: if you want my onist opinion i agree with you he can do as many fantastic favor's as he like's infact more the merrier, Anything to bring up in front of the judge, Yes i keep a file with everything from pictures to voice recordings, so far I've manage to build up 35 message's from breaking my jaw and posting it to my mother to burning my house down 👿 the police have reports of her being out with my daughter at stupid times of the night until 03:00am i have around 10 minutes of voice recordings with none i reacted on, its hard to not retaliate but IM not moving down to there level IM staying on top, i also have allot of images of my Ex partner's house, in such a state i wouldn't wish my pet dog to live in it, and oh yes of course, i will make sure she is only ever allowed supervised visit's at least then i will no my little girl isn't at risk.

To "Nanny Jane"

Thank you for your reply 🙂

I think my solicitor is looking forward to the case hopefully its a easy please, I think my Ex is expecting me to turn up in jeans and T-shirt :silly: the only problem i am going to have is that shes a compulsive liar and will properly try every trick under the book, shes made previous FALSE allegations to the police what has made me move 40 miles away from where she lives, i just hope the judge will take that into consideration, she will not have strong evidence mostly word of mouth, it just goes down to who the judge believe but after the evidence i have hopefully it will come my way

I would imagine she would be put into foster care short term if she dose get taken into care but it will be easier for me to get custody from social service's then what it would be fighting in court for her with my Ex partner.

I have full support from both side's of the family so that should look good on me as well they no what a compulsive liar there daughter really is!

and thanks for wishing me luck ill keep things updated as well 🙂

Thats fantatic Karlos! 🙂

...And dont you worry about her lying to the judge, they see it all the time and are very good at getting to the truth! You just get yourself suited and booted and remember not to react in a negative way if she starts attacking you...but you probably know all about that! 😉

As far as short time foster care is concerned, I would still push the SS to hand her directly to you....I dont know for sure, but I think its harder to get a child out of care than you might think. If it were me I would pursue Custody through the court, as you are doing and remind SS that you are doing this and as you are more than willing to have her full time, it would be less unsettling and it would be in the childs best interests for her to go straight to you.

Thanks for updating us! 🙂

Hi Karlos,

I have arrived a little late to this thread but am all caught up now. As Social Services are involved I will ask the Family Rights Group to pop by and offer some sage advice as they are experts on situations like this.

Keep us posted on how things are going.

Hello all sorry for the late reply i haven't given up on the forum Ive been stuck in bed ill

Well Ive spoken to social service's and Ive asked if my daughter will go into care when we have the CP meeting they replied "NO"

Good new is they've breached there harassment order's once again and both will be arrested over the next couple of days so hopefully this will help me place a injunction order on him,

i have some new bits and bobs Ive come across, some is pictures of my little girl covered in face paint with his name on her forehead
I'm not to sure if there's anything right or wrong with that?????

Also they've made my 5month old daughter a facebook account, I'm disgusted with that should that be allowed??

ill look into the family rights group i haven't heard of these before is it a advice centre or something similar??

Also if someone can help me briefly with "Guide to Representing Yourself in Court" Basically on the start of the statement it starts from when me and my ex partner had split up, we split up 2 weeks after my daughter was born but i was told i wouldn't be allowed to see her for the first two weeks because she wanted to stay at her mums and i wouldn't be allowed round i want to add that to it but how and where should i add it?

Gooner has asked the Family Rights Group to pop on here, so hopefully you'll see a response from them shortly. I'd have a word with the CCLC if you need specific help with the C100 - a link to their website is at the bottom of this site.

I have asked the Family Rights group to pop by the forum and offer some advice for you.

The Family Rights group are a charity that advises families whose children are involved with or need children’s services because of welfare needs or concerns. They are one of DAD's partner support services.

Their website is located here and their advice line number is 0808 801 0366.
