Folks!

Anybody know what's the youngest age a child needs to be to do a statement for a family court hearing

Do you mean for the child to make a statement? If so, I don't think it ever happens - cafcass would be appointed to speak to the child if the court felt it necessary.

You're right actd. I've heard of the judge talking to teenagers but as actd says its usually the role of CAFCASS to talk to the children and ascertain their wishes.
