Hi

My partner has just applied to court for a contact order but our solicitor has asked what we would like to be in it? We have covered how many nights per week, holidays, occasions etc but wondered if there's anything else we could write in?
He is also applying for a prohibited steps order as she often threatens to remove the children (who are British) and go back to Canada where she is from. We are going to get a specific issue order as she often threatens to move out of the area to make contact as difficult as possible, but once again our solicitor is asking what terms we want writing up, any advice is greatly appreciated!

We currently haven't seen the children since Christmas!!

Thank you

Sorry I'm not very clear, they are my partners children and it is his ex making threats etc.

I think you have most of what you need - the solicitor is only asking you what contact you would like etc, - he should then talk it through with your partner as to what the fine detail is and what is likely to happen.
