Hi all . Have a child arrangement order in place thst sets out my direct and indirect contact . Today I get a call from child services saying they have received a referral and that they’re doing a s47 and at the mo I won’t be having any contact .
am I right in thinkng that has to be by order of a court and not social services decision? Many thanks

have briefly looked this up, and seems like it's possible for local social services to initiate section 47 report, or a family court could direct them to do a report:
