First of all thanks to everyone for their help on my other topic about the Non-Mol Order against me,still no news on it sadly.

I'd like to ask how long will it take for an Emergency Contact Order to be given, anyone who knows about my non-mol story knows I was getting a LOT of contact including overnight until my ex made a load of lies up. My new Solicitor needs me to put £500 on account from this Tuesday before she can apply for the order, any one got any idea how long it could take to get a date??

An emergency contact order can be heard as quickly as the next day. 🙂

You are correct Kenny it is a disgrace, but sadly that's the way things will be for a while I feel. The changes to Legal Aid may level the playing field a bit if these women have to pay or defend themselves,I for one know my ex couldn't afford to keep going back to court without it. and she certainly isn't intelligent enough to defend herself
