Welcome to family law.
From my own experiences I can absolutely guarantee that the courts are not on the side of fathers. If there was any common sense I would have won my case months ago. Instead all I see is that the courts are willing to forget and forgive anything that my ex has done and try everything possible to make me out to be the bad guy.
You have to be whiter than white. Don't give your ex any reason to make you look bad. We're fighting an unfair battle and you have to accept that the odds are stacked against you.
Having said that, it hasn't gone to court yet. You may be able to explain your actions to a judge and get away with a slap on the wrist.
So you think it will go that far of being arrested and having to see a judge !?
I think it's 50/50 it will be up to the CPS... you might be lucky.
The fact that she sent you a video after complaining about your email to the police might be useful to mitigate your situation, it might be a good idea to call the policeman that's dealing with it and bring them up to speed with that.
All the best
