hi all

my first post on dads.info

I am self representing and am looking for example or template statements for a specific issue opposing child going to faith schools/also the children have dual heritage and like them to be involved in my religion as well as hers.

She is adamant on them not learning about my religion. what i use to get my children to go to another school which is far better then her choice as it has outstanding report and is much closer to both of us.

backgroud si currently going for shared residence have got interim order in place for every wendsay afterschool till 6 30, every friday evening school pick up to saturday 6.30 and 1 weekend in every 4.

in 3 months back for a review.

if anyone can help it would be much appreciated

regards
bal

If you can convince a court that your choice is better and more convenient you may have a good chance, but if your choice of school excludes the mother religion you may have short thrift.

I would recommend, if you don't currently have a solicitor, that you contact the Coram Children's Legal Centre on their webchat facility. The link to their webchat is www.childrenslegalcentre.com and can be accessed Monday to Friday 9am-6pm. Alternatively you can contact them on a freephone advice line which is 0808 8020 008 and available Monday to Friday 8am-8pm.
