Hi there I am new to this site and could really do with some practical advice from someone who has been through similar circumstances to me....
I seperated from my partner, we were not married two years ago, we own a house together which she still lives in, I have been paying CSA payments from day 1 with no problems.
The problem I have is that I want off the mortgage so that I can start again but she will not sell and as I give her so much money through CSA and tax credits she can afford to stay... I want her to either buy me out or sell, neither she is willing to do..
So as we are not married I need to take her to court through property law and not divorce law, its complicated and expensive....
Has anyone out there been through something similar... I am going mad as already I have wasted thousands and seem no further down the line....
Look forward to hearing from anyone...

thanks

Hi

I think you need specialist advice - I'd certainly have a word with the Citizens Advice Bureau to start with as that won't cost you anything.
