Could be a number of ways, depending on the parents & kids commitments and what works best for the families. Each way has pros and cons. Also can depend on your children - some kids dont do well with it, other do. Handovers, hosility etc can all factor in.

Option 1 (over 2 weeks)

Mon & Tues - Parent A
Wed & Thurs - Parent B
Fri - Tues - Parent A
Wed - Sun - Parent B

each parent has 7 nights over fortnight, but weekdays are fixed (so kids & friends always know where they are) with weekends alternating.

Option 2 (over 2 weeks)

Mon, Wed, and then Fri & Sat - Parent A
Tues, Thurs & Sun - Parent B

Then reverse the following week. Again each parent has 7 nights over the fortnight, but each get some weekend time each week, and involvement in all activites. i.e if football / dancing etc is on a Wed you each get to be involved in it

Option 3 - as above, but have Mon & Tues, then Wed & THurs.
