hi, i have a little girl who will be 1 on sunday but her mum who i have now been seperated from for four months is not letting me see her, i have been a part of her life and more importantly her dad from birth up until about three weeks ago, i still text call and go round to the mothers house to try to see my daughter but nothing, i am on the birth certifacate and i pay csa, but she is completly ignoring me, she now has a fiance who lives 200 miles away and im worried she will move away to be with him and take my little girl with her, what do i do now as cant afford solicitors fees or court costs, its starting to affect my relationship with my partner and also my job? please help

Hi

The first thing you need to read is the guide to representing yourself at the top of the legal section. Also don't go round to her house, as she may accuse you of harrasment and involve the police, which is something you don't want put in front of a court if it goes that far. Have you looked at the possibility of mediation?

You should try the National Family Mediation service, their contact details are http://www.nfm.org.uk. or tel: 0139 227 1610
