Hi, as has been said already - comply with what you have been told to do and be prepared for quite a wait to have contact with your son now. It's not going to be impossible to see your son but it's not going to be easy. Whilst you might not have punched your ex, by your own admittance, you have used physical force against her.
At this point, toe the line, jump through any hoops you need to do and don't contact your ex. If she contacts you, keep any communication to email or text only so that you don't leave yourself open to further incidents or allegations.
