Hi there

I have filed a statement at the court regarding the ongoing debate over the contact order, where i stated that my daughter stays at my parents residence during my contact.

Can her mother raise this point at he court? i mean by that, can she says that im not capable enough to look after my daughter or something
Is there any other matter she can raise considering this point

thanks

Hi Info,

I would think not, but there are no guarantees. I assume that you'll be staying there too? If anything this arrangment may benefit your request for unsupervised contact, but, again, there are no guarantees.

Your ex may well question the arrangement, but if the court awards overnight contact you would be able to decide where your daughter stayed. The court will only concern themselves with welfare issues, so if they're happy with the arrangement it may be an acceptable compromise.
