Are further education providers required to pass on information about enrolment, attendance etc under the statutory obligations of PR after the child has turned 18?

I don't believe PR applies - basically, once 18, they are adults in their own right.

That's what I was thinking, kinda raises questions around the "child" element of child support. Grrrr.

This sounds like a CSA question?

Yes it is / was a CSA enquiry. Basically after 16 years of a good relationship and travelling many miles per week to keep contact with my daughter she stopped speaking to me two years ago after a trivial argument. She is now 18 and still refusing to grasp the olive branch that I have offered her, her mother hasn't exactly been supportive of our relationship over the years.
All I want to know is her current ETE status. I don't trust anything the family tell me and I would like to find out directly for her training provider but they have already refused me once as they did not believe I had PR. she has since turned 18 and I was wondering if I could prove that I have PR are they still obliged to give me the information? Basically if she has left education, which I think she might have done, I am no longer liable for CSA payments which go straight to the treasury in my case. I don't want to involve the CSA because ... We'll anyone who has had dealings with them will know why I don't want to rattle their cage

I wouldn't think the CSA would take the case at her age. You could simply stop paying now, and write to your ex explaining why, and that unless she provides proof of continuing full time, non advanced, education, you consider the matter closed.
