Today is a very happy day.
I've just received all the paperwork back and now I have joint responsibility for my daughter.
It's been 11 years and I thought I'd mention it to my ex. We've been getting on quite well over the last few years and she was willing to sign the form and get it done. However, when it came closer to the time, she had doubts. Mainly because she'd been on other forums whose member had warned if it was the right thing to do. They were telling her I might take my daughter away, etc., and never bring her back. She knew this was wrong but couldn't bring herself to say yes.

Then, she saw the light and we went together to the family court to get the agreement form signed.
I copied it; I posted it. We've both received the stamped copies back this morning!

To celebrate, I'm now able to take my daughter to Disneyland Paris in April for her birthday with no trouble.

Happy Dad 🙂

That is fantastic news. Hope you both have a wonderful time in April. Just praying that we get something along those lines when we go to court in March. Haven't seen granddaughter in nearly a year now.
