hi, my wife called the police 2weeks back when we were having an argument. the police listened to us and then took her and the baby for examination at the hosptal. our baby is 2 months old. she took with her all her important documents and jewellery. the police just told me that they are taking her to ensure she doesnt have any depression. the next day in the morning, the police came to my house and told me that m wife spoke to them at length and they are arresting me for assault on my wife. they took me to the police station and kept me in the cell for the whole day. they read out the allegations that i had hit her with scissors and she showed the police with some wounds. these were all self inflicted wounds and totally false allegations and i told police my side of the story, the police released me without any chage.

she is staying at a refuge and the police is not telling me her address. i tried to callng her on her mobile but that is switched off. it is now 2 weeks and i have no contact with m wife or child. i am afraid that she might leave the country with my child. i understand that from the c100 form we can apply to the court to take out a prohibitive steps order through which i can restrict her from taking the baby out ofnthe country. i have downloaded the form and have a question:

1. the form asks for the address of my wife and i dont know her address. how should i procees with this address ? can i leave it blank?

also how can i make contact with my wife? i dont want to break the relationship as we have a baby and i want to provide her with a normal future. how can i make contactwith her for mediatition, as i dont have her address

many thanks

Hi Raghu,

Yes, further to the C100 post, just leave your wife's details blank and fill in a C4 Form. Feel free to add any additonal information with this also.
