hi again folks

whilst i've not got any particular action in mind just yet that I might consider taking (please see my one other posting on this forum re the problems i have with mother of child), i think it would be prudent for me to get some legal advice.

I don't know any family law specialist solicitors. i know a couple who are involved in criminal law.....but when you ask them for a recommendation.....the tendancy is for them to simply give the name of another partner in their practice.

i am based in Merseyside.
Can anybody recommend a reallly good solicitor?
i mean somebody who isn't simply going through the motions to pick up the cheques for the practice.....but rather somebody who goes the extra mile...somebody who is cunning....by that, i don't mean "fight dirty".....but who knows all the the tricks that mothers and their lawyers play.....and therefore knows how to deal with them and also be able to advice on the likely/common reactions from the "other side" to any actions i might choose to take......
basically....i don't want to just pick up the local paper and choose at random......so any/all advice would be welcomed.

Your local law society may be able to recommend a firm, but before you do anything I'd contact the CCLC and let them outline your options.
