Does anyone have experience of providing accomodation for the children after they're 18 1/2, rather than leaving them with the mother until they finish tertiary education. I would love my kids to live back with me after thet're 18. Regards, Mark.

Hi there and welcome 🙂

I would think that at the age of 18 they themselves would decide where and with whom they wished to live. If its their wish to live with you then it would just be a matter of them making the move. They are classed as adults at 18, can vote, get married, drink, drive and leave home if they so wish.

Yep, that is indeed the case - in fact I think they can probably decide at 16, at that age, the courts don't usually make residence or contact orders as far as a I'm aware.
