hello all,

dont know if anyone can give me a bit of advice on this one - I have access to my children through a court order, but have little contact with the mother and things arnt great between us, as christmas is coming up and the children will be doing school plays and concerts, do i have the right to ask the school for times and dates of these events ? as i know the mother will not inform me of them.

On the assumption that you have parental responsibility, then yes, you can ask the school for this. Give them proof of your rights, and ask them to notify you directly of all events, copies of reports etc.
