Thanks in advance....

My 18yr unmarried relationship broke down after a rather mild argument - the love she had for me had "just gone". We have a jointly owned property and 2 children. We agreed that I would buy her out of the home.

However - just recently I have found evidence that she has been unfaithful - I challenged her about this. I therefore forced her out of the house prior to paying her half the equity in our house.

I am in the process of raising the funds to buy her out but my question is.... now that I have found that she has been unfaithful does this bring any change to the legal situation?

Thanks

To the best of my knowledge, the only difference it made in the past was that it allowed the divorce process to happen more quickly, I'm not sure whether that still applies or whether all divorces are now as quick. It doesn't confer any 'advantage' to you in the divorce settlement as, even though your ex was unfaithful, potentially the reasons for her behaviour can be quite complex.
