[Solved] Shared Parenting but have to pay maintenance??

I feel I am still stuck in an unreasonable situation which is far from equal. I am due to receive my consent order any day soon but as the law governed I had to sign to pay myt ex-wife near on £200 per month in child maintenance even though we are joint parenting (we both have our son for 7 days over a 2 week span) and I still buy all the school uniform and clubs he goes too, my solicitor has told me I have to stay doing this for at least a year from my consent order being issued and then I need to ask for it to be reviewed by the CSA. Is this all correct as I can not see where and how I can apply to join the proposed new statutory child maintenance scheme as explained by MPs, I feel extremely alone in this issue and what will happen if my ex-wife wants it to stay as the consent order as she is very money driven where as I just want equal rights and to be able to treat my son.

Please help as the law seems to want to attack me because it is easier and I was nice enough to say she could have the child benefit.

...Not 100% sure but I seem to remember reading somewhere on here that a court order is in force for 12 months, after that you can have it reviewed and adjust the amount according to the CSA guidelines.

Hopefully someone will be along that can confirm this for you.
