Hi all,
My Solicitors have shut shop and closed down with no warning, letter or phone call.
I have emailed them with no response, there phone line is connected to a voice mail that is full !!

How would i go about getting my files?

This couldn't of happened at a worse time, Ive paid out 2k and nothing has happened i feel well let down and they just charge me for letters etc...

Who do i complain to and get my files, as i'm taking my ex to court for residence of my son and going to have a go myself, ive got the C100 form and EX50, CB1

Peace out

Thanks 😉

A new firm should take over from this solicitors, it might be worth calling the SRA who will instruct a new firm

Yes, the SRA will tell you who has taken over from the firm. All their cases will be assigned out to new Solicitors, these new firms should eventually write to the clients explaining, but SRA should be able to advise who its with and then you can advise the new solicitor if you want to use them or not and request your docs back if you do not want to use them
