Hello,my son had a non molestation order against him re his ex wife. I looked up the meaning of the word and it said non specific and that it could mean various things ie harressment violence etc . what really upsets me with this term is that when my son had to appear in court re his drinking and was given this order against him is that it was put in the local newspaper and many people thought that the molestation bit meant child molestation. My son went through [censored] for months with people saying he was a child molester !! why does the legal system use this word and couldn't they be more specific as to what it related to or just say he has a non contact order against him.

That had never occurred to me, I suppose on here we are used to hearing it in it's proper context. I can only imagine how bad that must have been for him.
