I have just completed form e myself and sent it to my Ex wife's solicitor, my Ex has said that she will be passing on her costs to me for her solicitor to look at my paperwork!
Can she do this?
I have told her where to go.

I cant see how but Im no expert.

Her solicitor would have to see it anyway surely?
Its not like your using her solicitor to check your homework....

Regards,

Dave

How petty! I don't think she's got a hope and you do right to tell her where to go...she obviously has little grasp on legal procedure.

I agree.

Years ago, my ex fired her own solicitor and represented herself, but because she didn't know what she was doing half of the time, my solicitor had to spend longer on the papers than he would have done otherwise - and it was me that had to pay. 😡

I would be polite (well, civil) in telling her where to go, but I don't think she has a chance.

Well she seems to have backed down on that one, the ridiculous thing is we both agree on the share of the house, my finances and gets ate no secret so in my eyes the form e is a waste of time. It's a mutual exchange so no courts involved.
