Had my first hearing today got into the waiting area sat for nearly an hour before getting called in and judge asked why I didnt have a solicitor with me as I'd had my mate do the paper work for me. Told him I was self repping. He said at the start he wasn not going to look at old issues but would look at how to move forward.
I've got 6/8 2hr sessions at a contact center down south every 2 weeks. I will be allowed to commiuncate via letters and cards in the mean time and if my daughter wants to speak to me on the phone then thats all an good. Also if she decides she wants to visit etc after a few sessions then it will be taken from there. Best news is she's not getting legal aid so her [censored] around by my mates reckoning stands her at nearly £500 and we have a review in July....Result pretty disapointed in some aspects as I preped for a battle but never got one I made sure though I mentioned to her solicotr about the preswents not being given and I think that would have opend up a whole can of [censored] and one that when I mentioned to her solictor she mentioned is all in the past now I think they know I can really go to town on it.
Long shot is I've to use the contact center until the summer so I can get to know my daughter again which is a fair point hopefully soon I'll have some telephone contact as well.
