Ive recently seperated from my ex partner. I had been living with her for 9 months where i was paying her house keep aswell as buying food for my child each and every month. there was no paper trail as i didnt think this day would ever come. not to my knowlege, but she was getting the house paid for by the housing executive and my name wasnt on the lease. we had a fall out and she decided to lock me out of the house without knowing that i had my own key. she then came home to find me in the house and rang the police. she has now had my arrested for burglary which is complete lies as ive lived there since we both moved in. Now shes set up a non molestation order banning me from contact from my child.

what can i do!!!!!

You need to find proof that you were living there, you need to prove to the police that you were living there, you’ll need to prove to court that you were living there.

The Non-Mol has had several posts in recent weeks so I’d suggest putting that term in the search box at the top of this site.

If that doesn’t help then keep posting here, someone will come up with some good advice.

I'd say you can clearly prove you had your bills there but not sure if thats enough for court but if they don't then i'd be shocked...otherwise why would you be paying the TV licence of have your important bank statements sent there!

also go along to the police and have them see that you have proof you lived there and push them to look at your ex for falsly using them to intimidate you.

Hi are you registered at the local doctor/dentist at that address. As for seeing your child , you say you have been living together for 9 months , how old id your child and are you on the birth certificate

A non mol does automatically barr you from having contact with your child. I would normally recommend moderation but as there is the non mol order it might be better for you to apply to the court for a contact order....you might have to see your child in a contact centre to begin with, but it wouldn't be forever.

yeah im on the birth certificate not registered with doctors at that address tho. seen a solicitor today and she said there should be no problem getting contact as ive had constant contact with my son since his birth. aswell as breaking up with my ex last year before this break up and still had unsupervised visits. my son is now 16 months.
