Dear all,

I, along with my kids Mum am a teacher and therefore have the advantage of plenty of holidays to spend with the kids. The kids mum is going to ask that my contact be reduced from the current 50\50 to every second weekend for me during holidays; this is the arrangement the rest of the year. School holds are different in my book! She says that it is too disruptive for the kids, that they need the routine during the holidays as well as throughout the year. If I end up in court again is a sheriff/ judge likely to agree with her especially since holds have been split 50/50 since we separated nearly 3 years ago?

Hi

It's difficult to predict what a judge would rule, It is likily though that if the arrangement you have had in the past has worked well that they would continue with that.

Be as prepared as possible though to back up your reasons for wanting to continue the current arrangement, but maybe look at blocking the weeks together rather than every other as that would help with routine.
