I am working on a new show for BBC One called the Great British Budget Menu and we are looking for large families with four or more children who are working but struggling to access/ afford healthy balanced meals - they might be surviving on cheap convenience food or the parents might be skipping meals.
In our programme, a BBC chef (either James Martin or Richard Corrigan) would help the family make their budget stretch as far as possible. Our chef would spend a few days with them in order to bring their story to a BBC audience. At the end of the show there will be a big banquet with contributors and invited MPs, charities and VIPs to discuss what more can be done to tackle this growing problem.
