[Solved] A question about a doctor and gyneacologist

Hello all dads!!
Me and my wife are going to have our first child but when we went to the gyneacologist she told us the baby was 9 weeks old. But when she went to a doctor a few weeks later it turns out that the baby is going to be born sooner than we expected. Could there be any complications or shouldnt we worry at this stage?

Thanx
Brey 😀 tie

Hi Mate

Pregnancy normally lasts from 37-42 weeks from the first day of mums last period in some respect this makes it kinda hard to get the date exactly right.

If you're worried go back and talk to your Dr but I doubt you have too much to worry about. Was the date the Dr gave you a huge differnace?

You could try working out your own date with this nifty NHS pregnancy due date calculator!

Congratulations by the way, fatherhood rocks 😉

Breytie,

I agree with Chris, don't worry too much at the moment. The last thing you & your other half need at the moment is stress. Wait until the later scan and if you have questions speak to your GP. Don't worry about bothering him/her - I'm sure they have plenty of parents nervous about all aspects of pregnancy and are only to happy to help.

Welcome to the site btw
