Well its finally happened, 12 days over due my wife gave birth to our beautiful baby boy, Jacob Lloyd Benjamin was born at 15:06 on the 21st weighing in at a health 8lbs 10.5, after an accidental induction gas and air pethadin (think thats how its spelt) me almost passing out at the size of the epidural needle (personnally I think it was the lack of sleep/food/drink) and a pair of forceps. what a fantastic feeling holding your child for the first time, and I did get a little tearful but I would challenge any bloke that says he didnt at that. First of many I hope. Just cant wait to get him and my wife home as shes had to stay in for observation, but both are doing very well.

Thanks guys, finally got them home today, put jacob in the car seat for the first time in the hospital and he fell asleep and was all the way from the hospital until we stopped at emma grandfathers and the car door slipped outta my hand which startled him.
