My daughter is 22 months old. She lives with her mum 350 miles from my home. I have been travelling one a month to see daughter since she was born.
Ex stopped contact 6 weeks ago and failed to respond to letter from solicitor. Ex phoned me and said "take me to court. If you got the [censored]"

Am asking for once a month weekend contact from 10.00 to 1800 saturday and sunday also 10.00 till 16.00 monday. When daughter is 3 yrs old one a month overnight saturday stay at hotel/bnb. Also one week stay at my house during Summer hols and Easter and alternate christmas.

Any members with any ideas on my contact request. Am asking for this pattern because of the distance apart from my daughter.

Thanks.

Hi and welcome.

First question - do you and your ex both live in England, or is one of you in Scotland? I'm only asking this because of the distance involved.

On the basis that you are both in England, you need to read yoji's guide to representing yourself at the top of the legal section, it's an excellent place to start. Is there any chance your ex will consider mediation? It's something the courts would expect you to at least consider unless there is a good reason otherwise.

OK, thanks for that. I'll ask the CCLC to pop by and give an opinion.
