[Solved] contact order

Hello
I obtained a contact order in SEPT 2010 since that time my ex partner has tried her best to cause maximum disruption to these contact days I have with my daughter.
My order states that my daughter is to stay with me 2 nights a week, this is to be arranged via text with the mother( shows trail should the mother decide to say she didnt know I was trying to arrange contact).
The mother gave me sporadic contact for quite some time hence the contact order. The mother now states that I must drop off and pick up from her home address, this is not an option as the mother and friends are abusive and have threatened to make false allegations against me.

Number 1 , is it correct that I need to make a contact variation and how straightforward is this ?

Number 2 , why the [censored] do some people make things so difficult to the detriment to their children, surely they can see the damage its doing.

I pay a lot of money per month to the mother, I have contacted or tried to contact my daughter every night for the past 3 years. I want regular contact with my daughter !!!!!!!!!! Why on earth would you make it difficult for someone that does all the things a parent should be doing?
Thanks

Hi Inkerman

Unfortunately, your situation is not uncommon. It's worth contacting the Children's Legal Centre about applying for a variation, but it's basically going back to court to get the contact order amended - keep all records of what has been going on, including a diary if there is no written/electronic record. Sounds like you need to either use a contac centre as a handover point so that you have no direct contact with your ex, or find a mutual and neutral friend who is prepared to act in this way.
