[Solved] Contact with my children

My ex wife has had my number blocked from her phone so I can't contact my children.
I haven't been able to contact them for five days now and can only console myself by sending them emails to a new site with the hope they can read it in the future.
I understand I going to have to take her to court to see my kids but I can't afford a solicitor and I don't know what forms I need or what to do.
Has anyone been through this and can offer any advise?

I just can't understand why the mothers get so much freedom to keep fathers at bay, surely fathers have a granted right to see their children and an equal right in the eyes of the law?

Sorry if I sound niave

Martin

Hi Martin,

Sorry to hear you haven't been able to see your kids for 5 days, that's really tough. If you have a look through the 'legal eagle' posts on the forum you will find other people who have been through similar situations. Is there any reason why she is denying you access?

Hi Martin

It may be worth considering mediation as a first step - perhaps one of the ways forward is to get your children mobile phones so you can ring them directly (perhaps at pre-arranged times). If this doesn't work, then you could be looking at a contact order - the place to start is with yoji's guides at the top of the legal section - that will give you the information you need to represent yourself.
