Hi All,

I'm a new dad with a 7 month old baby boy. I work from home so have a few afternoons or mornings spare sometimes and would love to find a Dad and Baby class in London, but I can't seem to find any on the internet! Do these exist or should I just go along to the Mum and Baby classes and hope there are some other men there? Any advice would be great..

Cheers,

Nick

Hi Nick

Welcome to the Dadtalk forum. I hope you find it a great place to be. Unfortunately I can't give you any specific advice about Dad and Baby groups although I am sure there are some in existence in various parts of the country. These groups do tend to be female dominated historically but I am sure if you were to join a local group you would be given a friendly welcome and encouraged to join in with your baby boy.

I hope other may be able to come up with specific advice.

I hope this helps.

I would suggest you find where your local children's centre is. Some of them run dad's groups. Hope this helps!

Hi Nickg01,

I would also try the website www.meetup.com and have a look for groups that meet in your area. This website has various different groups that meet, not just parenting or Mums/Dads groups, so you'll need to search what your looking for under the Greater London area & then narrow your search down to your area of London. If you're brave enough you could start one.

Let us know how you get on,

Daddyto4
