Ok never heard of them before so did a Google seach too!

I'm guessing these are fairly new to the baby market as i've never heard of them. Is there a reason why you want to get one Rhys? If you ever have concerns over your babies heartbeat during pregnancy you can go straight to the delivery suite at your local hospital and they will give your partner a check up.

My partenr and i end up there one sunday afternoon during her pregancy with our oldest, she was worried coz he'd gone quiet for a while. We poppped over they hooked her up to a baby heart monitor thingy and 1 hour later we were home and happy. 😀

A friend of mine mentioned them a few weeks ago and we looked into them, just wondering if anyone on here has used them as all the reviews i have read are all by women and i wanted a fellow mans point of view lol, everything is fine, we had the 1st scan last week and i just fancy one just so i can feel a bit more involved with the pregnancy in the earlier stages, as im feeling a bit left out at the moment and until the next scan or until the baby starts moving im not going to have much interaction with the baby only talking to the bump 😐

We hired one from ebay for my third baby as I was particularly anxious. It was nice to hear the heart beat when we eventually heard it, but on the times I couldn't or when the heart rate went too fast or too slow it just added to my anxiety and I constantly questioned if that was normal. I would suggest to make the time to go to the midwife with your partner as they always check with a doppler. Talk to the bump as a way of bonding or even when you're talking to your partner, put your head near the bump as the baby will get used to your voice too, and play games when the baby is kicking, they will interact with you, even before they are born! You can shine a torch through the belly to, they love that!

There's so much you can do by way of bonding but leave the medical equipment to the pros, it's not worth the worry!
