Hi guys! Dave here, im 28 my girlfriend is 23. So first a bit of background info... October 2010 we had it confirmed by the doctor, very happy and had a really nice Christmas but then it happened right in-between Christmas and new year 🙁 miscarriage at 9 weeks, the worst feeling I have ever felt in my whole life, god only knows how she was feeling.
5 months later.... 12 weeks gone! And first scan on Thursday! 🙂 BUT... I'm bricking it because of last time, all I can think of is that moment when they were doing the scan and the nurse couldn't find anything, my heart sank, just so worried it's going to happen again.
Anyhow that's my story, nice to find somewhere to go to ask guys with firsthand knowledge and experience so I know what to expect from a guys point of view!
Cheers for listening!!
UPDATE: Had First scan yesterday.... WOW!!! This just got real!! It's was so clear, we could see it's legs kicking!! And when I could hear the heartbeat that was the most amazing thing I have heard in my whole life! And yes I blubbed like a baby!! Lol!
(I had originally posted on another forum but it was mostly US dads but then I found you guys! Hence the update!)
