Hi,

Welcome to DadTalk! Hope you find this site useful & you're able to share any of your experiences or ask questions.

How do you & your family find the shifts? Do your shifts include nights too?

Hi there.
The shifts are fine. I have been doing them for about 6years now. I work 1400-2200 and 2200-0600. Also I work 35miles away so its about 45min drive. Doing shifts actually means i get far more time with the kids than i would if I worked 9-5, nights are hard but i survive on about 6hours sleep just make sure i get a lie in on a sunday. My partner is super organised which means that she can cope with the kids during the time I'm not there or in bed (I sometimes feel like i'm in the way 😀 ).

Goonerplum yeah house is full but its great fun. Always tired but the kids make it worth while.
Also i'm a spurs fan so looking forward to some banter lol

Sounds like you've got the shift system working in your favour 😀

Of course, whether we can keep up with the times you are going to be posting on here is a different matter 😆
