this is just a quickie as im not even sure how to start.

i have just received a letter form the csa about my 3 children its wanting details on my work etc but since my partner asked me to leave i have had no work due to being self employed and we shared a vehicle for my work which she has sole use of now. im not sure what to put on the form. i currently live with my parents rent free etc and i dont cost anything to run so i literally have no money let alone a bank account this was all done the way she wanted as in money paid to her so the long and the short of it is that i have nothing to offer. i see my kids every other weekend and the odd night/day here and there all of which is subsidised from my parents who are only to happy to help as it it there grandchildren. not wanting to not pay is not an issue as i would if i could so has anyone else had this problem. Thank you..

Hi there sinbad and welcome 🙂

It might be an idea to sign on as you are not earning anything....otherwise I would imagine the CSA will want to see proof via bank accounts etc. Even if you do the odd job, if your income is under £100pw then they would only take at the most £5 from you. There is a sticky with a link to a useful leaflet about CSA payments which is located at the top of the Finance section. Its called "How does the CSA calculate payments".
