Hello, I am new to this but I need help and advice about most things really but thought I'd start with asking for help about legal aid.
The main question is can I complain to legal aid that my ex is using legal aid to make ridiculous, hateful and now twisted accusations against me, mainly to stop me seeing my children.
Surly there must be some sort of regulation on this that stops this happening. This has been constant now for over two years.
A 30 minute court case will always take all day which as I am paying and costs me a packet. My money has now all gone!!
I am sure if she did not have legal aid and had to pay herself this would not be happening but she seems to be able to say and do what she likes when she wants and gets away with it.......
I am 99% sure that she also has money ( well a lot more money than I have!) I have been told I earn too much to claim legal aid!!!
Sunshine - feeling more like rain!!! 🙄 🙄 🙄 🙄 🙄

Are you no longer using a solicitor? If not, then the Children's Legal Centre will be able to advise you, and you can represent yourself. Even if you are still represented, may still be worth having a word with them to see if they can advise in general terms about legal aid rules.
